Dr. Richard Kim, a primary care sports medicine physician, opened his practice in 2014, with the goal of helping patients with great non-operative treatment options to help them get back to their active lifestyles. He integrates newer technology with the highest standards of patient care, to get athletes back out there and active.

Originally from the west coast, Dr. Kim now calls New York’s Capital Region home, and holds an M.D. from Albany Medical College and his B.S. from the University of Washington. He’s engaged with the upstate New York community as well, having involvement with various athletic organizations locally as a team physician.

Dr. Kim also serves as a physician for the United States Rugby team, and specializes in caring for highly active athletes with their sports-related concussions, non-operative musculoskeletal problems, and more. Board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics, Dr. Kim is also the Medical Director for the Saratoga Sevens Rugby Tournament.
